Minnesota Wild sign Brock Faber for 8 year extension

The Wild signed Brock Faber for 8 year extension worth a total of 68 million dollars. He had a solid rookie season and it seemed like it is too earlier to pay a player that much money and it could take the franchise backwards if it doesn't pan out. It is a huge gamble, and will see if it pays off for them.  It it does, I think other organization may try to do the same and give young player big extension early.
