I was not prepared for this show to be so good. The ensemble cast is amazing and the way they all riff off each other is hilarious!
Plot: Sam (the woman at the front desk) inherits a run-down mansion that she and her chef husband, Jay (the man on the phone) decide to convert to a bed-and-breakfast. Early on, Sam accidentally falls down the stairs and suffers a brain injury that enables her to see and communicate with the ghosts that inhabit the mansion. Hijinks ensue!
While watching TV, I often try to imagine the process from the perspective of the actors, directors, editors, and so on. With this show, the thing that always gets me is how often Utkarsh Ambudkar (the actor playing Jay) has to be in a room full of people - often shouting at and over each other, and talking directly to him - and pretend like he can't see or hear any of them 🤣 It strikes me as VERY DIFFICULT lol
