Wearing contacts

I've had bad vision every since I've been little and was one of the original "coke bottle" (extremely thick lenses like the glass soda bottles of the time) glasses kid. And even then, they only helped but so much. When I was finally able to wear contact lenses, I loved it. Granted it was the hard lenses, but it was a god send. 

Right now, I have had to resort to wearing soft lenses (long story) and I hate them. Getting them in and out is a pain and my eyes literally hurt after wearing them, so I don't wear them every day. No, comfort drops don't help. And, take matters worse, I have to still have to have glasses (readers) to read anything. Something I never had to do with hard lenses. Yeah, I'm working on getting hard lenses again, it's just in the mean time.
