令人悲哀的是，我们作为一个人类社会，无论国家、民族、种族等等，在生活中已经变得彼此模糊不清了！
具体来说，这件事指的是亚利桑那州那位在工作中去世的女士，她死在办公桌前长达4天，除了闻到一股“恶臭并以为是管道问题”之外，竟然无人察觉！没错，她的隔间并不在那层楼的办公桌主通道上，但太多人（同事、清洁人员、保安）既缺乏礼貌（难道她是个不受待见或无关紧要的职位，以至于不需要询问任何事情吗？），也缺乏足够的好奇心，甚至连清洁人员都没尽到自己的职责，没有走到她身边看看？
我不在乎：我个人不喜欢你，也不喜欢你；我们意见不合；或者态度不同，让我很不舒服，但我绝不希望任何人落得那样的下场！
我们都曾有过沉默和隐形的时刻，仿佛如果我们不在场，也不会有人注意到我们。如果真有这种情况，那就是其中之一。
我想郑重声明：我看到你了！我承认你是一个人，一个真正的人。我可能并不认识你，但你是一个人，我看到了你！！！
有时候，这就是活着的人和即将离世的人所需要的一切。

Sorry, was trying to give a bit on context to the statement for those who don't know about the incident plus a little venting, I guess. Long and short (regardless if intervention could have helped or not), being that alone that no one notices is a very large and hard pill to swallow. You are seen in the here and now.
