Diabetics probably shouldn't go on the diet due to risk of hypoglycemia. People who have struggled with eating disorders probably shouldn't do this diet either. I've been wondering the same thing though of what the risks are

It usually does no harm to normal person when you are still eating every day within certain hours and it does not lead to nutrient deficit directly as you can eat whatever you want within the hours. However if you certain health concern such as low blood sugar i would suggest to avoid fasting.

People have been fasting for centuries whether for religious reasons or as part of economic struggles. There's proof that not getting enough nutrition is detrimental. I'm not a healthcare professional or an IFer, but I'd say if you're pregnant, nursing, still growing (under 25), or have health issues, you should avoid long periods as that can have an affect, & when you do eat, be sure to eat healthy. Also, consult with a medical professional &\or a coach\nutrition specialist regarding your conditions & your goals.

A downside is you have less energy, or having an eating disorder.  But it may help if you have heart disease or diabetes. (68)

It all depends on your health to begin with, like someone with diabetes it would probably be bad for.

I would say no if you use fasting correctly. You can do fasting for one day or for one week which can be dangerous for your body
