I have no idea. From my experience the numbers are just said and based on those the discussion moves forward.

As an emt, low blood pressure is any systolic (the first number) below 90. Totally normal blood pressure is 120/80, or around that. Higher blood pressures start like, mid 130s/90s, and super dangerous blood pressures are 180s/120s or so. But Ive seen people with those pressures that don't experience any symptoms either, and i get called there for a completely unrelated problem.

I'm not exactly sure. My boyfriend had high blood pressure but he also had other health problems that were more serious so I don't know too many details about it
