So the top number is systolic, and the bottom is diastolic. Systolic is the max pressure when the heart pumps blood out into the aorta, and diastolic is the minimum pressure when the heart relaxes and fills with blood from the vena cava I believe. If the numbers start widening it means your heart isn't as healthy, could be because of age, genetics, hormone problems, or heart valve conditions!

A health blood pressure is when the upper number or systolic pressure is lower than 120 mmHg and the lower number or diastolic pressure is lower than 80 mmHg. Drinking a lot of water helps to improve a high and low blood pressure, but talk to your doctor first if other medications are being taken because there could be other things to look out for as well.
