This leads to symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, slowness of movement, and balance problems. While the exact cause is unknown, both genetic and environmental factors are believed to play a role. Parkinson's disease can also cause non-motor symptoms like depression, sleep disturbances, and cognitive changes. Although there is no cure, treatments such as medication and therapy can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
