In The Heights

Before Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote Hamilton, he wrote this one. It is based in the Washington Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn, where they all dream of winning the lottery. The musical spans two days in the lives of the residents during a blackout on July 4th. The music is very catchy and you can hear how Hamilton was influenced by this musical.
