大多數阻力訓練對我來說太枯燥乏味,毫無意義。花幾個小時推拉重物卻毫無成效,感覺既浪費又單調。但在科技讓家事變得更容易之前,很多家事都很辛苦。所以,我沒有使用那些吵雜、污染環境、汽油驅動的草坪設備,而是選擇了「老派」方法。首先,我用我的美國割草機公司(American Lawnmower Company)的推式割草機修剪草坪,然後把修剪下來的草耙到人行道上,最後用推掃帚把修剪下來的草掃成一堆,扔進我的堆肥箱。總共需要幾個小時,最後我不僅得到了全身的鍛煉,而且還擁有了一片漂亮平整的草坪,這足以證明我付出的努力。從四月到十月,我每週都會這樣做一次。

    49- that push mower is not for the faint of heart . I got 1 when I lived in a duplex ,small yard and landlord always waited for it to get ugly tall so I decided to do it with 1 of these and omg that was a sweat shop

      Oh yeah, the secret is frequency! If I make sure to do it weekly is really not so bad; it's still a workout but it goes pretty quick. But if I let it go three weeks then it's an absolute nightmare.

    Good for you!!! That would be great exercise! I enjoy some lawn work, but despise other lawn work.

      Yeah ideally I wouldn't be doing any "lawn" work; I prefer gardening & low-maintenance native landscaping. We're converting the lawn over bit by bit, but obviously I still gotta keeping it looking nice in the meantime 😅
