Perhaps the best preparation before a pre-workout is a homemade pineapple and lime isotonic drink.
The recipe I use is the following:
3 cups of water
2 cups pineapple juice
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/8 + 1/16 teaspoon salt
Just place all the ingredients in a large bottle of water and shake well until well-mixed. I advise drinking at least a quarter before starting your workout to ensure you are well-hydrated.
