So, I guess it depends on what you're trying to do with your legs. I am already built with curvy legs even being a thin person so I don't want to bulk them up at all. If you don't want bulk then I suggest not doing any heavy lifting - if you do want bulk, I would suggest similar routines to mine but with added weight & less reps. I am no trainer or anything at all; I am just going based of my personal build/shape & what has & hasn't worked for what I want. Here is one of my favorite routines that I do twice weekly & a photo of me to get an idea of what you're gonna get (again, i'm not going for anything major - I have bigger legs and I'm not looking to build additional bulk)... I also run daily & participate in my local Pittsburgh marathon yearly & the cardio in general just helps keep off fat/burn fat :
